This paper presents a new disparity map refinement process for stereo matching algorithm and the refinement stage that will be implemented by partitioning the place or mask image and re-projected to the preliminary disparity images. This process is to refine the noise and sparse of initial disparity map from weakly textured. The plane fitting algorithm is using Random Sample Consensus. Two well-known stereo matching algorithms have been tested on this framework with different filtering techniques applied at disparity refinement stage. The framework is evaluated on three Middlebury datasets. The experimental results show that the proposed framework produces better-quality and more accurate than normal flow state-of-the-art stereo matching algorithms. The performance evaluations are based on standard image quality metrics i.e. structural similarity index measure, peak signal-to-noise ratio and mean square error. Keywords: computer vision; disparity refinement; image segmentation; RANSAC; stereo.

The common electricity source is currently being generated through solar panel, wind turbine and hydroelectric. However, these methods require high cost and large space for the system operation. This paper proposed a Pico hydro free charging system from high pressure water of the home piping system stored to power bank for home lighting application. The usage of small-scale turbine in the system generated electricity to continuous charging the power bank. The power bank then acted as a free power source used to light up a 5V LED bulb as a free lighting source. The additional usage of Arduino helped to provide the information display on the generated current, voltage and the water flow rate. The piping size and length were evaluated and it was found that they significantly affected the voltage performance with the help of Arduino application for monitoring purpose. The uniqueness of this project is that it can be operated with a minimum water pressure of 15 Psi to generate renewable energy storage from incoming housing piping system

Integrating RBF-based Neural Network Face Expression Recognition in Access System

Biometric recognition system such as facial recognition system was widely developed over the past few years. Facial recognition system is commonly used in security system to allow user to protect their privilege. The normal security like key or password is no longer relevant as people prefer an easier and flexible way. Therefore, this paper presents a better and easier way of security system that can recognize the user successfully and give the matching percentage. By using Radial Basis Function Neural Network in MATLAB, a face recognition system can be created. The RBF system will be trained by data as reference, input image will undergo the same process and the data obtained will be used to match with the data in the RBF to obtain the matching percentage. A suitable matching percentage reference was chosen from this analysis as the minimum require matching to access the security system where error rate is one of the main concerns where it is the unwanted result that might occur. Different threshold number, spread value, and sizes of dimension also tested, the differences on the output matching result were observed. By using the microcontroller to control a relay to control the magnetic door lock, the system was able to successfully control the door lock

Home surveillance system assumes an essential part in this present day living style to help recognizing illegal activities. In this proposed paper, an intelligent image capturing alarm system to protect locker was developed. Raspberry Pi 2 is used as the main controller (server). At the point when any conceivable intrusion is identified, a webcam installed to Raspberry Pi 2 will capture the picture of the intruder. In the meantime, the spotlight or light of the house which represented by an LED will be turned "ON" alongside an alarm sound from a buzzer which is fixed as an output. Taking everything into account, this improvement offers reasonable and easy to use surveillance alarm system
